I've done some research and have discovered some new parenting techniques.
When communicating with your children, use a high pitched whistle. This whistle counters whining, screaming, talking back, and eye-rolling. If we’ve learned anything from Captain Von Trapp, the whistle is our best option to get kids attention… short of smacking them upside the head (which is what I’m sure he wanted to do with his boys who wore the Lederhosen).

a spaceship hovered over our house this morning... and this creature fell out and landed on my lawn. It's still there.
It looks scary, and it snorted at me when I got close to it, so I ran away. But I got this picture and am now convinced that aliens do exist and we are not alone in the stratosphere.
