I love this guy. Humble upbringing, Played in the MLS, brought over to Man U, now the anchor of the US Dream team. No one would have guessed we’d have gone this far, and Tim Howard is a huge part of it.
Today against Brazil should be interesting.
I have always felt reluctant to add a Sushi place to my D worth the Drive series because most "dive-looking" Sushi places should be avoided at all cost. However, my friend Matt from Los Gatos convinced me otherwise. In fact, he said this place has the freshest fish in the area... apparently he has checked.
Let me say, TGI Sushi in Campbell does not disappoint. Check it out... Off Hamilton near Winchester. It's a tiny place.... so don't blink, or you will miss it.

My buddy Charlie heard about my Dive worth the Drive series and decided to take me to his favorite Mexican Dive in Sunnyvale called Tai Juana.
Actually, if you are part of the cool crowd you say “Speedy’s” and the locals know what you are talking about. This was this tiny little hole in the wall place that was standing room only and a line out the door. Authentic “South-of-the- border” Mexican food with excellent Sea Food dishes. If you are interested… Check em out… 901 E. Duane Ave in Sunnyvale.

Cathryn Talbert will be opening for Maybe Tuesday the “Music Heals” benefit show at the Mission City Coffee in Santa Clara off the Alameda.
Tickets are $12 at the door and all proceeds go to Team In Training. This is also Maybe Tuesdays 1st performance as Maybe Tuesday.

If you can find it you will love it!!! I'm enjoying a croissant and coffee. It's a cozy Cafe just a ways down Big Basin way (past hwy 9). I'm listening to obscure Beatle tunes in the quaint and cozy living room... chatting with employees and enjoying my food. If you happen by tell them you read about them on Dive worth the Drive!!!
